The lecture civil protection is used in combination with the lecture Event Management and emergency organizations (Stefan Kreuzer).
Disaster Management (on the basis of the disaster management in Austria with an overview of the organisational structures in the European Community), Handling a disaster situation in staff activity (rules and measurements), possibilities of an integrated disaster management (interface between science and authorities).
The excursion allows a glimpse into the district branch of the Red Cross Tulln (incl. All emergency vehicles), the national warning center Lower Austria and the Lower Austrian Fire Department School (training facilities and special equipment of the fire for disaster).
