Markus Eitle (BOKU-WOB) zweifach ausgezeichnet als Jahrgangsbester Masterstudent der TUM

Wien/Tulln 02.12.2014 Dipl. Ing. Markus Eitle, currently PhD student at the Department of Crop Sciences, Division of Viticulture and Pomology (supervisor: Astrid Forneck, Michaela Griesser) graduated as best student of his year at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in the international Erasmus Mundus Master of Horticultural Sciences. He was rewarded by the Bundesverband der Hochschulabsolventen/Ingenieure Gartenbau und Landschaftsarchitektur e.V. (BHGL) and won a price sponsored by the Haus der bayerischen Landwirtschaft Herrsching. 

Markus has been working on stress metabolites in grapevine in the Viticulture and Pomology Group at UFT and is now pursuing his PhD degree studying the effectors for a compatible grape phylloxera (Daktulosphaira vitifoliae) – Vitis spp. interaction.
