Erasmus+ Traineeship

Gain international work experience in Europe! Take the opportunity to do a 2-6 month Erasmus+ funded traineeship in Europe.

Step 1: Search for your traineeship placement - a combination with a compulsory internship as per your study programme or with the research work for your BA/MA or PhD thesis is possible!

Step 2: Apply for Erasmus+ funding online from 1 December – first come, first served!

Who can apply for the Erasmus+ Traineeship?
BOKU students that have completed at least 2 semesters and a minimum of 20 – 30 ECTS at BOKU at the time of the traineeship, have a GPA < 2,8 and proof of language proficiency (min. B2) in the working language.

Where can you do your traineeship?
At companies, NGOs, national parks, laboratories, research institutions, universities, etc.
In all EU member states + Norway, Iceland, Turkey, North Macedonia, Serbia, Liechtenstein & UK

How/when to apply for your funding?
Application documents can be submitted via the online application database Mobility Online anytime

What are the scholarhip rates?
Depending on the host country between 530 and 630 € per month
In addition, there are Top-Ups for Green Travel as well as for students receiving study grants ("Studienbeihilfe"), students with disabilities or chronic illnesses and for students with children.
