Natural Fibre Materials
The research group „natural fibre materials“ investigates structure-property relationships of lignocellulosic fibres including nanocellulose, wood fibres, fibres from annual plants, and regenerated cellulose fibres. The application fields of these bio-based fibres involve polymer reinforcement, foams for thermal insulation, coatings, wood adhesives, and binderless materials.
