Wood utilization & annual ring analysis
There are two main topics of the working group “wood utilization & tree ring analysis”: dendrochronology (dating of historical wood, studying the influence of climate on growth and on wood quality) and historical wood utilization (wood species selection, traditional knowledge, documentation of craftsmen experiences).
