Dipl.-Ing. Lukas Macheiner of the Food Chemistry Laboratory of the Department of Food Science and Technology was awarded the Czedik-Eysenberg Award 2020 by the Society of Austrian Chemists (GÖCH), which is given for outstanding publications in the research fields of Food, Cosmetics and Commodities.

The Society of Austrian Chemists (GÖCH) awarded Dipl.-Ing. Lukas Macheiner from the Department of Food Science and Technology the Czedik-Eysenberg Award 2020 for his outstanding publication.

By publishing the article „Green coffee infusion as a source of caffeine and chlorogenic acid“, Dipl.-Ing. Macheiner set a further milestone for the potential of green coffee derived foods for consumers.
