As an instrument of modern human resources management, appraisal interviews complement communication in the everyday working environment and create a setting in which strategic questions can be dealt with. It allows members of staff and their managers to define their career, discuss cooperation and define the tasks and objectives for the next period. The interview is held annually and also serves to promote the development of the institute, department or service facility which in return shapes and boosts BOKU as an entity.
