Arthur complements as spatial planner the research and teaching competence at the Institute of Landscape Planning

 

 

Dealing with natural hazards and climate impacts in spatial development is of global and crucial importance. In particular, by land use and urban planning it is pivotal to take precautions concerning changing environmental conditions as measures of prevention.

Arthur Schindelegger has studied spatial planning and complements since September 2023 the team at the Institute of Landscape Planning in the fields of climate change adaptation, disaster risk management and planning law.

He will support the EU Horizon project “Land4Climate” as well as two projects of the ”Austrian Climate Research Program”.

The Institute for Landscape Planning is very happy to welcome with Arthur Schindelegger a designated expert in spatial planning and land policy.
