This course aims to equip students with a sound understanding of road safety issues associated with different road environments and road user groups.
The challenges of road safety in contemporary society in both developed and developing nations will be presented and students will have the opportunity to carry out fieldwork and other interactive activities to supplement formal lectures. By bringing together all aspects road safety, including the contributions of training, new technologies and infrastructure improvements, a holistic approach to road safety management will be presented.
