Category 1

  • University Continuing Education Programs (Universitätslehrgänge) of min. 90 ECTS
  • Degree: "Master of …"
  • Curriculum, examination regulations and documentation of learning success for completion
  • Admission requirements: Bachelor's degree from (inter)national University/University of Applied Sciences

Category 2

  • University Continuing Education Programs (Universitätslehrgänge) of min. 60 ECTS
  • Certificate: with academic title "Academic …" ("Akademische/r …") with an affix denoting essential contents of the program
  • Project paper or written home work (min. 10 ECTS)
  • Curriculum, examination regulations and documentation of learning success for completion
  • All 3 BOKU focus areas (natural sciences, technology, socioeconomics) must be represented in the program's teaching, science-related approach must be discernible, practical training/work elements must be included
  • Admission requirements: general matriculation standard or aequivalent (inter)national graduation,
    or (if appropriate) Master Craftsman's Certificate plus relevant professional occupation of several years

Category 3

  • University Continuing Education Programs (Universitätslehrgänge) of less than 60 ECTS
  • Certificate of Participation issued
  • Curriculum, examination regulations and documentation of learning success for completion
  • All 3 BOKU focus areas (natural sciences, technology, socioeconomics) must be represented in the program's teaching, science-related approach must be discernible, practical training/work elements must be included
  • Admission requirements: general matriculation standard or aequivalent (inter)national graduation,
    or (if appropriate) Master Craftsman's Certificate plus relevant professional occupation of several years

Category 4

  • University Continuing Education Courses (seminars, summer academies etc.)
  • Certificate of Participation issued
  • no Curriculum, examination regulations or documentation of learning success required
  • Topical fields typical for BOKU's scope shall be represented in the program's teaching, science-related approach must be discernible, practical training/work elements must be included
  • Admission requirements: none
