Ao.Univ.Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Dr.nat.techn. Sabine Baumgartner

Sabine Baumgartner was born in 1966 in Wiener Neustadt; she is a graduate of the Department of Food and Biotechnology at BOKU. In 1996, she graduated as Dr.nat.techn. from the Interuniversity Research Institute for Agricultural Biotechnology Tulln. In 2012, she attained her habilitation in bioanalytics at BOKU. She was Deputy Head of the Analytical Centre at the Department IFA-Tulln from 1998 onwards; from 2007 to 2014 she headed the Christian Doppler Laboratory for the analysis of allergenic food contaminants. 

From 2010 to 2017 Sabine Baumgartner was an elected member of the non-professorial academic staff representation (Mittelbaukurie) and an elected member of the BOKU Senate. In 2013 she became Deputy Chair of the Senate.
