... is employed as an university assistant at the institute of silviculture and finalized her dissertation in March 2019 entitled "Douglas-fir cultivation in Central Europe: suitability of forest sites and reproductive material" (abstract). Within the scope of her work at the institute she is investigating the non-native tree species Douglas-fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii). The main focus of her work deals with the development of a site-sensitive statistical model for the estimation of the site-specific growth potential of the Douglas-fir.

Tamara Eckhart completed the master programme "Mountain Risk Engineering" at BOKU (topic of the thesis: "Estimation of climate change impact on the runoff from a small alpine watershed in Austria"- abstract).
