Alina Pinkelnig has been an intern at the Institute of Law since 2 June 2020. She is currently studying Environment and Bio-Resources Management (bachelor programme) at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU). Her internship at the Institute of Law is funded by the BOKU Alumni Association.

Maximilian Kallinger has been a tutor at the Institute of Law since 24 February 2020. He is currently studying law at the University of Vienna.

Michael Pfeifer has been a research associate at the Institute of Law since October 2019. His research interests lie in medical law, public law and law for criminal procedure. He is currently completing his PhD at the Johannes Kepler University Linz where he focusses on criminal law and constitutional law.

Sophie Kastner has been a tutor at the Institute of Law since 1 October 2019. She is currently studying law at the University of Vienna. She is particularly interested in environmental law and criminal law.

BOKU visits Constitutional Court of Austria (VfGH)

Department trip

This year’s department trip on September 17, 2019 included a visit to the Austrian Constitutional Court (VfGH) in Vienna. Constitutional judge and law professor Georg Lienbacher provided insight into the court building at Freyung and answered a vast array of questions from Department staff.

Mr Shepherd

Mr Shepherd has been operating at the Institute of Law for more than a year now. At BOKU, he is mostly concerned with diverse meditation practices as well as midday patrol duties in surrounding parks. Moreover, he can be infectiously good-humoured, thus contributing to the good vibrations at work.
