DFG-NSF Workshop in Washington, D.C.
From 7-9 February 2019, Professor Iris Eisenberger and Thomas Buocz will attend a workshop on "Technoscientific Constitutionalism: Exploring the Intersections of Science, Technology and Constitutional Order" in Washington, D.C. Iris Eisenberger will present on "Living in the Laboratory: Towards experimental citizenship?" together with Sebastian Pfotenhauer, TU Munich. Thomas Buocz will present on "Data ownership in test beds" in the PhD-session of the workshop. The purpose of the workshop is to take legal and political institutions as direct objects of critical STS ("Science, Technology and Society") inquiry. It is jointly sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG).
