The Institute of Law (Univ.-Prof. Dr. Iris Eisenberger, M.Sc. (LSE) und Mag. Franziska Bereuter, BA) as a partner of a consortium was awarded a grant for the H2020 Project 'Scaling up Co-Creation: Avenues and Limits for Integrating Society in Science and Innovation' (SCALINGS).

As part of the research project SCALING the Institute of Law cooperates (Univ.-Prof. Dr. Iris Eisenberger, M.Sc. (LSE) und Mag. Franziska Bereuter, BA) with the Munich Center for Technology in Society (MCTS) at the TU Munich and eight other european research facilities. The project is funded by the European Commission out of the H2020 pillar 'Science with and for Society' for 39 months.

Aim of the SCALINGS project is the development of an 'EU Policy Roadmap' for 'co-creation practices' and 'co-creation research'. To achieve this, comparative studies concerning the fields 'robotics' and 'urban energy' will be conducted in ten European countries. SCALINGS is integrated in more than two dozen European co-creation initiatives.
