Univ.-Ass. Mag. Michael Fürmann

Michael Fürmann has been a teaching and research associate at the Institute of Law since April 2019. Previously, he had been a tutor and research assistant at the Institute of Law since March 2017. He studied law at the University of Vienna and is currently finalising his studies in French. His research interests include Constitutional law, Public Commercial law and Environmental law as well as the didactics of law.

While studying law at the University of Vienna, he spent a year abroad at Sciences Po Paris and completed interships in the public service sector (including a “Top Ten” internship at the Lower Austrian regional government). On a voluntary basis, he mentors future volunteers of the non-profit association “Österreichischer Auslandsdienst” (Austrian Service Abroad) and imparts basic legal knowledge as a speaker of the Vienna Legal Literacy Project, holding workshops at schools.
