Via Virtual Private Network (VPN) it is possible to access the BOKUnet from devices outside the BOKU as if this computer were connected via LAN cable inside the BOKU.
For student accounts, VPN access is enabled by default.
For employee accounts and function accounts, VPN access is regulated in such a way that IT managers of the respective organizational unit activate access via account manager!

- IPSec is no longer supported by the manufacturer.
- Cisco AnyConnect apps for mobile devices (mobile phones, tablets) are available in the respective App Store for Android and iOS: AnyConnect on Google Play for Android resp AnyConnect in the App Store for iOS.
However, BOKU-IT cannot provide support for private devices.
