WWTF Life Science Call 2021

The Vienna Science and Technology Fund (WWTF) will launch its 14th Project Call in its Life Science Programme on 29th January 290121. The focus of the call this year is “Chemical Biology” and has been endowed with a total of 4.5 million Euro. Following WWTF’s inaugural call in this area in 2017, this will be the second time that a call is launched with this focus.

This call is open to researchers at universities and non-university research institutions in Vienna, as well as researchers moving to Vienna. It is aimed at researchers who seek to conduct a cutting-edge research project (2-4 years) at the interface of chemistry and biology.

Please note that this is a two-stage call with a short- and full-proposal phase.

Deadline for submission of short proposals: 130421

Funding decision is expected in December 2021.
