As previously intimated the Forum will address Educating the Young Professionals to Feed the Planet & Provide for the Sustainable Bioeconomy.  On the 22 October the event will be held in the EU Pavilion at the EXPO and on the 23 October at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.  The ICA General Assembly will be held on 21 October.

We will update the programme as the final speakers confirm their participation.  

Franz Fischler, former EU Commissioner, will open the event by reporting on EU discussion paper Towards a Research Agenda for Global Food and Nutrition Security.  Franz Fischler is Chair of the EXPO 2015 EU Scientific Steering Committee.

Mella Frewen will discuss will address Responding to the expectations of the labour market: Supplying the Food Sector with qualified graduates.  Mella Frewen is Director General of FoodDrinkEurope. See webpage

In addition we will have two presentations exemplifying two MSc programmes which are designed to develop graduates with holistic systems thinking skills for the bio-economy
