on November 9 at Brussels, Belgium

This ACA's European Policy Seminar will focus on the links between international mobility and highly skilled migration by looking into current trends, links and gaps between policies and practices, into contemporary discourses and existing evidence on the two, looking at both voluntary and forced migration. It will be discussed how countries attract and retain global talent, how recruitment and retention are supported at the EU and national level, and how and to which extent the potential of international talent is being used, in the context of both international student mobility and the integration of highly skilled population with a refugee background.

The event is designed for higher education institutions, national and EU policymakers, national-level agencies and scholarship providers, organisations supporting highly skilled migrants, employers and all other stakeholders interested in practice and evidence on highly skilled migration.
