Graduate Student Breeding Symposium

Starting from the long history of plant breeding at Hohenheim, the event will focus on technologies and resources that will help plant breeders to face the economic, ecological and social challenges of the future. Several renowned speakers from the field of plant breeding are invited and the symposium is an excellent opportunity for graduate students to broaden their knowledge and connect with other graduate students or leading scientists in plant breeding. In addition to the symposium, students can also participate in a tutorial given by Rex Bernardo on his software package breeding games the following day. Registration deadline: November 18, 2018.
