One health summer school, France

The One Health Summer School 2019 is organized by two research groups: BIOEPAR (INRA/Oniris), a leading team in France in epidemiology and animal health and SECALIM (INRA/Oniris) a leading team in France in food safety and microbiology.

You will have the opportunity to attend courses & hands-on workshops and to visit companies with the participation of professors, researchers and professionals, from BIOEPAR and SECALIM research groups and from agro-food industries, specialized in epidemiology, food safety and one health.

Topics to be covered include different research fields in animal farming and food chain:

  • Microbiological risk and food of animal origin: assessment and control
  • Antibiotic use and antibi resistance
  • Control of infectious diseases
  • Ecology of vector borne diseases


The main objective of this summer school is to share with you knowledge and research results on one health challenges at different steps of the agri-food chain: from farm to food industry.
