The AEMS addresses innovative reform proposals and alternative ideas for the economic status quo. International participants deepen their understanding for complex interconnections between economy, ecology and society. They critically discuss limits to growth in an interdisciplinary setting and learn why a drastic change is needed in order to stabilise global warming at 1.5°C. This year, the program will take place digitally and also take into account the current developments due to COVID-19. Graduates will receive a certificate of participation for 5 ECTS credit points for crediting at their university.
