ISA Lille (part of Junia, the grande école of enigineering) is looking for a colleague who would be interested in teaching a 4 h course (online) in March.

Format:

  • 4 hours lecture (online)


Content:
Climate resilient crop/varieties as an adaptation strategy to tackle climate change:

  • Effect of abiotic stress, CO2 on plant growth
  • What are the different strategies and levers to improve crop tolerance/resistance against abiotic stresses induced by climate change? Examples of: Innovative breeding approaches and technologies, genetic engineering techniques, new crops development, evolution of the seeds sector…

The lecture could cover all or parts of this suggested content, potentially by taking examples of research and development projects.

Four possible dates (at this time):

  • Monday March 8th AM
  • Friday March 12th AM or PM
  • Thursday March 18th AM
