A recent article in the magazine of the Vienna Medical University (MUW) highlighted research in nanomedicine. It included an interview with Prof. Reimhult.

Nanomaterials for use in novel medical imaging, diagnostics, and drug delivery is an increasingly hot topic. It is seen as the key to overcoming limitations inherent in traditional medical approaches. It promises such things as diagnostics on the molecular level and targeted drug delivery. Nanomedicine has been part of the BIMat research portfolio since its creation and our collaboration with researchers at the Vienna Medical University dates back almost as long. You can read the interview with Prof. Reimhult and other researchers in our local network here (p. 26).
