Prof. Toca-Herrera was invited by Gonzalo Neira Chacate, a former exchange student at BOKU, member of the Board of the Federated Centre (the highest representative body of the students of the Faculty of Science) and one of the organizers of the scientific weeks, to give a seminar in the biology session on the opening day of this annual three-day event.
The seminar held by Prof. Toca-Herrera emphasized the use of physical techniques and models to study receptor-ligand interactions and the mechanobiology of proteins.
The scientific week closed with sessions dedicated to environmental engineering and climatology.
