The AGH Krakow was established in 1913. It ranks as the second Polish technical university and the fifth best Polish university overall.
The university has currently about 27000 students, who are taught and mentored by 1845 teachers (among them 136 full professors and 271 associate professors).
In 2015 professor Toca-Herrera was appointed a visiting professorship and held two courses on “Biological Physics” and “Scientific writing”, respectively. This year, professor Toca-Herrera will give a 6 ECTS - course on “Self-organized colloidal systems and their technological applications” at the Faculty of Physics and Applied Computer Science.
