The course is addressed to female first stage researchers (before dissertation and with completed master's degree) and female postdocs.

Objectives:

Find strategies to make yourself known inside your community and to enhace your networking skills

Content:

Excelling in your field isn’t enough to advance professionally. It’s just as important to ensure that key people in your network know who you are and associate your name with your skills and accomplishments. In this workshop, we will explore ways to enhance visibility as women in academia and discuss what authentic self-marketing in this context can look like.

Methods:

Short input in plennary sessions
Reflection and discussion in small groups

Group size: max. 14 participants

The workshop will take place at Schulungsraum Cieslar-Haus/ SR 01, EG, Peter-Jordan-Str. 70, 1190 Vienna.

Dr.in Martina A. Friedl
holds a PhD in Chemistry and has a professional background in science and at an international management consultancy. She has undergone advanced training in systemic coaching, systemic organizational consulting and systemic family therapy. Since 2010 she is active nationally and internationally as a freelance management consultant, trainer and career coach.
