Numerical codes and tools
We are developing a number of numerical codes and tools for the simulation of complex material behavior.
Our main development code is EdelweissFE, a finite element code for the simulation, suitable to solve complex boundary value problems in solid mechanics: github.com/EdelweissFE/EdelweissFE
Since 2024, EdelweissFE has a material point method (MPM) module, which allows for the simulation of the behavior of materials subjected to large deformations: github.com/EdelweissFE/EdelweissMPM
