company excursion - canceled

Dear colleagues,

It is with a heavy heart that we have to cancel tomorrow's excursion.

Unfortunately, there are serious weather warnings - including for Lower Austria and the greater Vienna area.

Independently of each other, we have forecasts from 3 meteorologists who have similar model calculations, according to which up to 400l/m2 of rain could fall between Friday and Sunday.

All general weather apps and channels in Austria and Germany have similar forecasts.

The Tulln Garden also has no possibility to offer programs for so many people “in the dry” or even the journey (public or car) is not advisable in the event of exceptionally heavy rain, as we would probably be completely soaked by the time we arrive at the meeting point - apart from the dangers that generally arise from flooding.

We very much regret this - looking out of the window today, it's hard to believe that the situation could change dramatically.

So far, we have always been lucky enough to have a few drops of rain in mid-September at most, but otherwise good weather for excursions.

In this respect, we would like to plan the 11.9.2025 next year, in consultation with the principal - with special attractions - a small compensation, even if there is still a long wait until then.
