Erasmus+ Internship at the Archive of Austrian Landscape Architecture


Are you interested in working at the intersection of landscape architecture, collection management, cultural mediation, and research?

We are looking for an Erasmus+ intern to assist with the digitization of plans and photos.

As part of the research project “Vienna's open spaces in Plans and Photos” photographs and plans of the Vienna cityscape from the second half of the 20th century are currently being digitized.

You will work with a modern camera system and scanner and help us make our plans and photos available in an online collection as well as on kulturpool.at.

Key facts:

  • Requirement: Erasmus+ funding
  • Scope: 30 hours per week
  • Duration: immediately, until end of September 2025 at the latest
  • German language level C preferred
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud apps, understanding of content management systems, and interest in digital media

A workspace will be provided for the entire duration of the internship. Students can take advantage of university offerings such as language courses and the university library during their stay. The Institute of Landscape Architecture cannot provide any salary for the internship. Expenses for accommodation, travel, food or health insurance can be covered.
