From September 17 to 21, Olivia Gold represented the Institute at the European Transport Conference 2025 in Antwerp, where she combined sustainable mobility with impactful research.

Olivia presented her work titled "Unraveling Transport Poverty in Austria: Exploring Coping Strategies and Policy Leverage Points for Equitable Mobility Solutions" in the session "Understanding Fairness Through Systems Approaches". We are proud of her contribution to this important topic and grateful to her supervisors, Astrid Gühnemann and Paul Pfaffenbichler, for their guidance.

In addition to presenting, Olivia chaired her first session, "Understanding System Sustainability", and facilitated engaging discussions on sustainability and systems thinking. She also assisted in the "System Thinking Workshop - Perspectives on Transport", which brought together diverse perspectives to tackle transport challenges.
