The Institute of Transport Studies is excited to welcome Maximilian Hoffmann as a new PhD student within the TRANSFORM PhD Network!

“As part of the TRANSFORM PhD Network, my PhD project focuses on developing an evaluation framework using System Dynamics to assess the broader socio-economic and environmental impacts of transformative and sustainable mobility policies. The framework will account for socio-economic factors such as gender, age, abilities, income, and ethnicity. Ultimately, it will serve as the foundation for a decision-support tool tailored to the needs of policymakers in complex decision-making processes.” – Maximilian Hoffmann

Maximilian has an impressive academic background. After completing his Bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies at Bauhaus University Weimar, he pursued a Master’s in Spatial Planning at TU Dortmund. Alongside his studies, he gained valuable experience as a research assistant at the Wuppertal Institute.

We wish Maximilian a fantastic start and look forward to the exciting insights his research will bring!
