2nd Networking Meeting in Graz on April 24, 2026: “Healthy on the Move – Active Mobility & Healthy Streets”


At the invitation of the Austrian Health Promotion Fund (Fonds Gesundes Österreich, FGÖ), 14 project teams met at TU Graz to discuss innovative approaches to active mobility under the scientific guidance of the Institute for Transport Studies (BOKU) and to test the “Healthy Streets On‑Street Tool” directly in practice.

On April 24, 2026, Verena Zeuschner, Health Officer for Physical Activity and Active Mobility at the Austrian Health Promotion Fund, invited the project leaders of the FGÖ call “Healthy on the Move – Active Mobility and Healthy Streets” to the second networking meeting in Graz.

In a great atmosphere, there was lively exchange and sharing of ideas among the 14 projects:

Agnes Feigl, Managing Director of Agnes Feigl Landscape Architecture e.U. and Healthy Streets Practitioner, tested the Healthy Streets On‑Street Tool on site with participants.

Sandra Wegener (BOKU University, Institute for Transport Studies) presented initial results of the cross‑project evaluation and provided input on “Communicating Active Mobility.” Juliane Stark (BOKU University, Institute for Transport Studies) moderated the event. The FGÖ call is being scientifically accompanied by the two mobility researchers from the Institute for Transport Studies.
