It is with deep sadness that I must inform you that our adjunct lecturer Alexander Frötscher from Austria Tech lost his life in an avalanche accident.

He taught the course on intelligent transportation systems, which was very popular among students. Some of you may also have known him from some of our events as a warm and open-hearted person. This is a great loss both personally and professionally.

We extend our sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the family.
