Successful Defense of Cordula Müller
The dissertation focuses on methodological advances in Road Safety Inspections (RSI) and targeted knowledge transfer in Road Safety Audits (RSA). It makes a substantial contribution to evidence-based road safety assessment and the optimization of road infrastructure. Owing to its system-oriented approach, the research is highly relevant for practical road safety work.
Cordula Müller has been closely associated with our institute for many years and also completed her master’s thesis here. With her doctorate, she continues an important academic tradition: accident research at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU), was co-founded by Ernst Pfleger, who also supervised the dissertation.
