Visiting PhD Student Lorenzo Maccarone Joins the Institute for Transport Studies

The Institute for Transport Studies welcomes Lorenzo Maccarone, a PhD candidate from the Alma Mater Studiorum– Università di Bologna, who began a three-month research stay in Vienna at the beginning of September.

During his visit, Lorenzo is collaborating with Prof. Yusak Susilo and the IVE research team on a comprehensive review paper examining the integration between public transport networks and micromobility systems. His doctoral research is supervised by Prof. Roberto Patuelli, our long-standing project partner within the SmartHubs project.

The Institute looks forward to an engaging academic exchange and productive collaboration over the coming months.
