European Researchers‘ Night: IVE in St. Pölten

Through the citizen science project IMPETUS, Roman Klementschitz presented interactive insights into sustainable mobility at the European Researchers‘ Night in St. Pölten—ranging from a newly developed survey app to hands-on activities for visitors of all ages.

With the project IMPETUS, a citizen science initiative dedicated to sustainable mobility in the district of Wieselburg an der Erlauf, the Institute for Transport Studies—represented by Roman Klementschitz—hosted an information booth alongside project partner BEST (Bioenergy and Sustainable Technologies) at the European Researchers‘ Night.

The team showcased and promoted the newly developed app, engaged visitors with a guessing game on travel across Lower Austria using various transport modes, and offered an interactive planning game where children could redesign a car-oriented city.
