The 13th International Conference on Transport Survey Methods, held in the beautiful city of Da Nang, Vietnam, was a major gathering of transport researchers, policymakers, and practitioners from around the world. With a theme focused on “Covering Blind Spots of the Transport Datascape in Times of Turbulence,” the event offered a unique platform for advancing survey methods critical to understanding and shaping transport planning in an ever-changing world.

This year’s conference saw a strong presence from innovative teams who contributed a variety of presentations and workshops aimed at pushing the boundaries of transport research. Among the highlights was a series of insightful poster and lectern presentations, along with collaborative workshops addressing some of the most pressing issues in the transport industry.

A sincere thank you is extended to the organizers, especially Mario Cools and the team, as well as all participants for the engaging discussions, inspiring contributions, and the opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and network with the global transport survey community.
