Networking meeting in the Rosalia Teaching Forest
The varied programme included numerous exciting presentations. Following an introductory presentation on the teaching forest in the open-air lecture hall, participants visited the drought simulation and biodiversity infrastructure.
Following a joint lunch break, there was an opportunity to learn about hunting in the teaching forest. Participants gained detailed insights into the game management carried out by BOKU University.
Further specialist lectures were held in the afternoon: First, the ongoing digitalisation of the research infrastructure, spearheaded by the Institute of Soil Research, was presented. Subsequently, the Institute of Hydrology and Water Management reported on the forest hydrological infrastructure in the teaching forest.
