Tulln Lecture Series: Sustainable Soil Use as the Basis of Life

As part of the Tulln Lecture Series at Campus Tulln Technopol, Martin Gerzabek will speak on 7 May 2026 on the topic:

“Sustainable Soil Use as the Basis of Life – Challenges, Opportunities and Risks”

Soils form the foundation of food security, biodiversity and climate regulation, while at the same time facing increasing pressure from competing land-use demands. The event will highlight current challenges, potential risks and pathways towards responsible and future-oriented soil management.

The Tulln Lecture Series brings scientific expertise from Campus Tulln into the city centre, making current research accessible to a broad audience.
