this should be indicated together with the necessary data in the entry section "Invoice Address (if applicable)",
including the applicable VAT identification (UID-/VAT-No.).

The next step: Upload your documents and verifications

To complete your application for admission, please have ready to upload all required documents, according to the informationen provided by the Program/Course Management (or the program/course information webpage), in form of a digital copy (scan/photo):

  • curriculum vitae
  • certificates of secondary, college/university and/or professional education
  • letter of motivation
  • copy of a valid official photo identification ( national ID card, passport, driving licence only in combination with proof of citizenship document)
  • passport photo matching official criteria (for student ID BOKUcard = official identity document)
  • (further documents, if required)

The program/course management will subsequently send you access details für the upload of the files to your protected individual BOKU server space. Data transmission is encrypted.

Following your program/course admission: legal obligation of statistical survey at the start of studies (UHStat1)

According to Federal Law (Bildungsdokumentationsgesetz § 9), all students of Austrian Universities are obliged to supply statistical data at the start of studies.

The data have to be entered by the students themselves, directly via the following web page of Statistik Austria:
www.statistik.at/uhstat/uhstat1/#

Data entry requires an Austrian Insurance Number (Sozialversicherungsnummer).
Persons without an Austrian Insurance Number will be issued a Substitute Code (Ersatzkennzeichen). The code will be sent by the university's study services within the process of enrolment at the university. In this case, data entry can be performed only after enrolment has been processed.
