BOKU young scientist wins Early Career Competition at EAAP conference in Innsbruck

Great success for BOKU University: Dr. Pedro Sessogolo Ferzola (Institute of Animal Nutrition, Livestock Products and Nutritional Physiology (TIER), Department of Agricultural Sciences, and FFoQSI GmbH) was awarded the Early Career Competition prize at the 76th Annual Meeting of the European Federation of Animal Science (EAAP) in Innsbruck (24–29 August 2025).

The international conference is considered one of the most important platforms for animal sciences in Europe. With his scientific presentation on the topic of ‘Effects of feed processing methods on nutrient digestibility and performance in early broilers,’ Dr. Sessogolo Ferzola prevailed against a strong field of young researchers.

The Early Career Competition is sponsored by Groupe Roullier and CMI Roullier and recognises outstanding contributions by young scientists.
