Dávid Tőzsér, Laboratorian
Dr. Dávid Tőzsér is a laboratorian working at the Institute of Geotechnical Engineering, BOKU. In the previous stage of his career he completed his Ph.D. and carried out research in the field of Environmental sciences at the University of Debrecen, Hungary. His scientific interest covers the assessment of soil remediation processes from planning to long-term monitoring. Dr. Tőzsér has published peer-reviewed papers and given conference presentations about the restoration of physicochemical soil properties after (primarily metal) pollution, using environmentally sound methods. Previously, he was involved in national and EU-supported projects aimed to mitigate the environmental risk of soils formerly subjected to intensive industrial utilization.
Dr. Enrico Soranzo
Dr. Enrico Soranzo
Dr. Enrico Soranzo is a Vienna based Italian MBA graduate at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (Project Management specialisation) with a thesis on the application of Project Finance to Tunnel Engineering. He finished his doctoral thesis on “ Experimental and numerical investigations of face stability of shallow tunnels in partially saturated soil” at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU). Dr. Soranzo is a chartered civil engineer with a solid background in geotechnical engineering and five years of experience in engineering megaprojects and building site monitoring.
Dr. Chengwei Zhu
Dr. Chengwei Zhu
Dr. Zhu is a post-doc working on seepage and numerical modeling. He obtained his PhD from Zhejiang University, China, with his doctoral thesis on seepage field analysis of submarine tunnels under the constant and fluctuating water level. His research interest involves micropolar theory, numerical method (SPH in particular) and its applications in geomechanics including triaxial test simulation, shear band analysis, etc. He has published several peer-reviewed articles and conference papers on seepage field analysis of submarine tunnels.
