This September, our PhD student Ahmadreza had the opportunity to present his groundbreaking research at the EMI 2024 International Conference in Vienna, hosted by TU Wien!
His presentation, titled "Characterizing a Novel Strand-Based Engineered Wood Product for Use in Construction," showcased innovative findings from the UNISTRAND project. The conference provided an amazing platform to discuss cutting-edge developments in engineering mechanics and connect with researchers from around the world.
The turnout was incredible, and it’s always inspiring to see how our institute contributes to such diverse international discussions. This marks yet another highlight in a series of conferences our PhD students attended this summer – showcasing the range of topics we’re passionate about!
