As part of the Unistrand Project, we conducted tension tests on large-scale OSB/4 specimens provided by Swiss Krono. Using an industrial robot, the dogbone samples were prepared accurately.

Tension testing often faces issues like premature failure in the clamping area instead of the gauge section. Thanks to our advanced hydraulic clamping device, we’ve overcome this challenge, proving its reliability for testing large-scale OSB/4 specimens.

This innovative setup paves the way for more reliable and standardized testing methods for large-scale materials.
