The teaser image element can be used on a TYPO3 standard page as a single teaser image, but not as a teaser image gallery.

  • You can maintain the teaser image with title, text, image and link.

For creating a gallery on a TYPO3 standard page, use the "text image element with the image setting "Slider".

TYPO3 generally scales images automatically, but if you want to select an exact image section for this content element, you should crop the image to:

  • 735x300 pixel

Teaser images on start pages of organisational units

It is also possible to create a teaser image slider with different images and texts for start pages of the organisational units:

  • create per each teaser image of your gallery a new content element "teaser image" and fill each element separately
  • although the elements are displayed one below the other in the TYPO3 backend, this results in a teaser image slider
