For the following bachelor's programs compulsory internships are required:

Food Science and Biotechnology 4 weeks
Environment and Bio-Resources Management 4 weeks
Environmental Engineering 5 weeks

The respective student representatives (ÖH BOKU) can support you in your questions related to the internship and help you find a suitable work placement. Also within BOKU sometimes internships become available at individual institutes. It is a good idea to have a look at the job exchange of the Alumni Association of the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences

Generally, we recommend completing optional internships in relevant companies or engineering offices while you undertake your academic studies. In case these internships should lead you abroad, the following options are available (among others): IAESTE, ERASMUS, internships provided by the Association of Rural Austrian Youths (Landjugend Österreich).
