Summer School Tempe: Indonesian Cultural Heritage for the World - IPB University, Indonesia

From the very beginning, the Summer School was designed as an international classroom and has brought together students from different countries, cultures, and disciplines. The didactic approach focuses on interaction and active learning: in addition to traditional lectures, the program includes interactive discussion sessions, group work (video projects), and laboratory exercises (Tempe: production from bean to dish). With this Summer School, Mr. Fuhrmann has succeeded not only in contributing to the further development of the department but also in strengthening BOKU’s international visibility and appeal as a hub for innovative, globally connected education.
