Vienna Jazz Orchestra – 05.00 p.m. until 07.00 p.m.
The Vienna Jazz Orchestra was founded in 2012 by Fritz Ozmec with the intention to make Big Band-music on a high professional level. It is an idealistic project in which top-Big Band-musicians, teachers and young top talents collaborate. They all are Big Band enthusiasts and want to contribute to the preservation of this important orchestra form as part of the musical landscape.
Butter Bread – 08.00 p.m. until 09.30 p.m.
Butter Bread serves us a combination between Viennese funk and fusion. And all of that in grand Big Band manner. The current winners of the Planet Festival Tour present great arrangements with thrilling rhythms. No matter if at the “Funk an der Thaya” or the “Pinch of salt”, this band knows how party works.
This event meets the criteria of the City of Vienna (ÖkoEvent) for an environmentally friendly and sustainable event.
